What can I expect on my photography course?
Whether you choose a single day course or decide to stay longer and tackle more advanced photography, you can expect a warm welcome and some enjoyable but structured learning. Whatever your choice of course may be, you will receive clear printed course notes to take away as an aide memoir covering all of the theory behind the practical work.

You will improve your ability to “spot” and frame a good photograph. You will improve your knowledge of photographic terms and your ability to use your camera. But we are NOT in a classroom here, far from it! You will enjoy a trip to some of the many fabulous locations here in the Algarve. We are located just three kilometers away from Albandeira and Marinha beaches with some of the most spectacular coastline in Portugal. Praia da Marinha is a world-class location right on our doorstep and Albandeira beach boasts one of the best natural stone arches in the world!
You will learn how best to do things “in camera” and a little bit about editing your images in Photoshop using legitimate wet darkroom techniques. You will enjoy the learning experience and go home a better and more confident photographer….
Do you provide notes with the photography courses?
Yes we will provide you with detailed printed notes for the course content so that you can refer to them when you need a refresher. We offer structured courses, it’s not just s “show and tell” exercise.
I did a course but it was all about Photoshop
We do include Photoshop in our courses but the emphasis is on the photography and using your camera rather than endless post-production techniques. The idea is to get it right in the camera and only ever “tweek” the images in Photoshop with legitimate darkroom techniques.
Can you tailor a course just for me?
Yes we can. If one of the standard courses isn’t quite right for you just contact us and let us know your requirements, we can offer a course program to match your needs.
How does commissioned photography work?
If you have a specific requirement, maybe you would like a nice canvass of your favourite beach or a photograph of your favourite restaurant to include in a photo book for your villa?
Just contact us to discuss your requirements. If the job can be done, we will give you a fixed price for the work and send you a PayPal invoice. We then take the photographs, produce the items you need and deliver them to you in the UK or Portugal.
Can you photograph my Villa in the Algarve?

Can you photograph my wedding in the Algarve?
